OSCARS!!

In the spirit of the Academy Awards, here is a list of Asians and Asian-Americans who have won the coveted golden statue.  The full list of nominees of Asian descent can be found HERE.

I'm a little bit annoyed that Yul Brynner is credited with being the first Asian ever to win the Best Actor category since the only thing Asian about him was that he was born in Russia.  His Asian-ness is to be debated.  I left him on this list to give him the benefit of the doubt.  He sort of looks Asian.  At any rate, I am still waiting for a Best Actress award to be given to a person of Asian descent.  Ben Kingsley won the award in 1982.
